With the rapid development of electronic devices and systems powered by battery assemblies, the demand for DC voltage converters is increasing. The growing interest and demand for DC-DC boost drivers is due to the fact that most systems are designed to be powered by 12 or 24 V battery packs (12.8 and 25.6 for 4S and 8S LiFePO4 battery packs, respectively).
Increasing the voltage is necessary in many cases, starting with the task of reducing the power supply current and transmitting it without energy loss along the line to powering lighting devices: LED searchlights; laser anti-aircraft anti-drone searchlights; lamps working on pedestrian crossings and powered by solar panels. The generators of electronic power stations require 28 or 30 V DC input voltage for power, accordingly, there is a need for DC voltage converters with a current of 5..5.5 A.
At the same time, the Light Route company developed and delivered serial production of step-down voltage converters – DC-DC drivers, which are widely used in the regulation and control of LED lighting.
Today we offer two series of down converters LRC-LDD-L and LRC-LLD-H. The LRC-LDD-L driver series is characterized by a compact size and a voltage range at the input of 4.5 ~ 40 V, at the output of 2 ~ 36 V, DC. The LRC-LDD-H driver series is characterized by compact size and voltage range at the input 4.5 ~ 60 V, at the output 2 ~ 55 V, DC. Such wide operating voltage ranges allow step-down drivers to be used in most LED lighting systems where control and dimming are required.
